The NHIE® is the original competency exam for the profession and is still one of the only ones that is psychometrically-valid. It shows a home inspector’s skill and knowledge in the field.

The Inspection Certificate Associates (ICA) Home Inspection Course is designed to provide comprehensive training for individuals seeking certification in the field of home inspection. The coursework covers various aspects of home inspection, including but not limited to structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), as well as practical inspection techniques.  The ICA Home Inspection Course aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in home inspection. Education requirements for IAC2 certification often involve completion of specific training programs or courses recognized by the association. Infraspection Thermographer certified

IR Inspections for Home & Building Inspectors 

Infrared certification is written proof that a person has completed formal infrared training and/or possesseses a certain skill set. Certification has long been one measure of thermographer competence within the infrared community much in the same way a diploma or degree is used among educational institutions. Infraspection Institute is the oldest and most respected name in infrared training and thermographer certification. The Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® program is compliant with international standards organizations such as ISO and ASNT. 

Radon Measurement Professional in Illinois

A Radon Measurement Professional in Illinois is an individual licensed to conduct radon testing and measurement in residential and commercial properties. To obtain this license, individuals typically need to fulfill specific educational and training requirements.
